Wine Cask and Intermezzo Are Under New Ownership

••• In November, Restaurant Guy had heard that “someone high up in the Walt Disney Company” was taking over Wine Cask and Intermezzo (813 Anacapa, below Canon Perdido). Now the blog’s readers report that the restaurants have “a new owner, John O’Neill, who started Elements Restaurant & Bar.” Elements, in the space that subsequently became The Little Door, closed in 2012.

••• It’s worth keeping an eye on Blue Corn Tacos: last weekend, it popped up at Low Pigeon, and on Tuesday, it’s at Old Town Coffee in Goleta today. The menu looks appealing.
