This looks like the bell in the parking lot on Santa Barbara street between Canon Perdido and de la Guerra.
There’s a legend about a stash of unclaimed gold buried right there. Don’t know if that’s so true, but it goes nicely with the fact I have run into multiple friends and strangers alike who are happy to share about how haunted that section of the parking lot and the fountained courtyard behind it are! I find only charm in stories like these — but I wonder if anyone knows where all this folklore comes from — and why this seemingly ignored spot has so many stories?
