UPDATE: Congratulations to Bill Tomicki for correctly identifying this as the monument across Channel Drive from the Santa Barbara Cemetery. From Geocaching.com: “Charles Caldwell Park, a doctor and writer, built the trough in 1911 in memory of his two deceased sons, Roy Harrison Park and Charles Caldwell Park, Jr.. Francis Wilson, architect of the Santa Barbara train depot, designed the trough. Researchers couldn’t find any information as to why Mr. Park and Mr. Wilson decided upon a trough.”

The corner monument where Cabrillo splits off by the cemetery across from the bird sanctuary?
Can we get the Bucket Brigade to clean this corner up? It’s over grown, and would be a beautiful entry to Montecito. Just asking.
