••• Fess Parker Winery is opening a tasting room in the Funk Zone—it’ll be in the former Pali Wine Co. space at Yanonali and Gray. (Pali has another one a block away.) Look for it starting September 10.
••• And the Montecito Journal reports that the La Lieff Wines tasting room is open; it’s on Gray Avenue, around the corner from Dart Coffee Co., and it’s sharing space with a restaurant (status unknown) called We Want the Funk. UPDATE 9/2: Apparently, La Lieff has not opened after all.
••• Restaurant Guy’s recent post about how Corazón Cocina is taking over the food program at M. Special on State Street included a photo of a Corazón sign outside. But the sign is gone, and Corazón says it has yet to commit to anything there.
••• Edible Santa Barbara reports that Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant has moved from Five Points to 721 Chapala Street, where it’ll share the space with Sachi Ramen & Robata Bar.
••• The IHOP in Noleta has closed; that’s where Chick-fil-A plans on opening. Like a phoenix, IHOP will rise again on Hollister Avenue next month. —John Palminteri

••• Goodland Wine Shop is now open at 4177 State Street (west of Highway 154). “The shop will be selling only local Central Coast Wines,” says proprietor Douglas Trantow. Noozhawk has more on his background.
