••• Sure to be a highlight of this year’s Taste of Santa Barbara: “Join the Two Baking Brits [Pascale Beale and Sandra Adu Zelli] for a five-course Provençal-inspired dinner at Cheese Shop Santa Barbara featuring local produce. Each course will be paired with Zaca Mesa wines and stories of Julia Child.” It’s May 15 and tickets are $95.
••• Twenty-Four Blackbirds has “a new line of limited-edition custom products in collaboration with Flamingo Estate” (which seems to be everywhere these days). First up: a Mother Day Bon Bon Set ($75) “made by hand in small batches by Michael Orlando, who took our favorite ingredients from farmers we love like our Blackberry Vinegar, Persimmon Vinegar, Heritage Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Wildflower Honey. Reimagining them into experimental, wildly delicious hand-painted treasures.”
