••• Pressed Juicery is back at the Montecito Country Mart, in a fashion—it now has a fridge inside Caffe Luxxe, which comes at the expense of the café’s dignity.

••• Tickets are on sale for the Women Winemakers & Culinarians Celebration, March 6-9 at various locations in the Santa Ynez Valley.

••• Some friends gave us a bar of Dubai chocolate—milk chocolate with a pistachio cream filling and crispy kataifi (shredded phyllo), which I hadn’t realized was a thing until I read about it in the New York Times—that they had bought in New York City, and it’s addictive, to say the least. Has anyone spotted it anywhere around here…? UPDATE: A couple of folks said that Lokum has it, and apparently the market across from Bell’s in Los Alamos does, too. UPDATE 2/12: Add Top This Chocolate in Ventura to the list.

If you are coming thru Los Alamos- the market across the street from Bell’s has multiple similar type offerings- candy bar size & $100 size. Nice new owners!
