I was walking my dog when I saw a couple of guys working at the Music Academy of the West. They said they were measuring in preparation for the installation of pedestrian gates. Does that mean the public will no longer be allowed on the campus? —J.
“Yes, we will be installing gates to complete the fencing that was started last year as part of a project to improve the security of our campus, particularly at night,” explains Ana Papakhian, the school’s chief marketing and communications officer. “The pedestrian gates will still be open during daytime hours. Our current plan is to have them open from 7:30 a.m. to sunset. We welcome our neighbors to enjoy the Miraflores campus during the day.”
