The week’s many notable sales….
308 ENNISBROOK DRIVE
In September 2017, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi bought 308 Ennisbrook for $7.196 million; the following spring, they sold it for $11 million to Tinder founder Sean Rad. For both transactions, DeGeneres hid behind Harley Neuman (her business manager) and the Adobe Trust. Now, in an off-market sale not recorded in MLS, Neuman is once again listed as the buyer, this time for $14.314 million. Certainly, one of his other clients could have bought it, or he could have bought it for himself. Given DeGeneres’s love of real estate and her wife’s love of horses, however, it seems more likely that they wanted an equestrian property to go with their new $49 million Picacho Lane compound. This wouldn’t be the first time DeGeneres has bought back a property she sold. Perhaps Architectural Digest should update its timeline of her real-estate transactions (which doesn’t even include a recent flip that no one ever reported). P.S.
