Great news: Cheese Shop Santa Barbara, which I mentioned earlier today, is actually the rebirth of C’est Cheese under a new name. From the Independent, which has the full explanation: “The new fromagerie occupies the same exact space at 825 Santa Barbara Street in the Presidio Neighborhood, employs almost all of the same staff, and focuses on what brought [Kathryn and Michael Graham] to the business in the first place: top-shelf cheese from around the world; a range of charcuterie, some made in-house; and artisanal foods and drinks to round it all out.” It opens forpick-up orders on October 3, but they’re still not letting customers inside.
