••• From an op-ed on Newsmakers regarding inadequate funding for cannabis enforcement: “By continuing to underfund the Team, Santa Barbara County will never receive the revenue that these growers actually owe because you will never know what they are actually producing—unless that is the intention.” And I thought I was cynical…. Then again, the weak oversight may very well have been part of the backroom dealings regarding cannabis regulations.
