••• If I read the op-ed-ish article correctly, the Montecito Journal (article not online) seems to be arguing that pharmacies should vaccinate people over 65 who have comorbidities, thereby flouting county regulations. The more useful takeaway is that Ralph’s supermarket downtown (and “other pharmacies, I’m told”) often has extra doses at the end of the day for people over 75.

The theft of catalytic converters is popular because they can be easily removed, they do not have identifying marks like serial numbers, and the components are made up of precious metals that can be resold to recyclers.”
