••• Here’s a petition to get the state to “request that the Governor evaluate the Central Coast (San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties) as a ‘sub-region’ in determining whether our local ICU capacity justifies removing our communities from our currently assigned Southern California Region in the Regional Stay-at-Home Order. I urge the Governor to allow the Central Coast to exit the Regional Stay at Home Order when our three counties combined ICU capacity exceeds the 15% standard.”

••• The Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara has a pop-up gift shop at Paseo Nuevo, across from Gap Kids. It’s open Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
••• The Montecito Fire Department will hold “a Debris Flow Risk Map Virtual Community Meeting on Thursday, December 17, at 5:30 p.m. […] to provide Winter Preparedness information and to publicly release the updated Interactive Debris Flow Storm Impact Consideration Risk Map. […] The Storm Impact Consideration Map will be utilized by local emergency managers to determine what portions of the community will be evacuated if necessary this winter. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Interactive Storm Impact Consideration Map will be available at readysbc.org/maps.”
